Sauteed Asian Shrimp
1/2 teaspoon Chinese five spice powder
1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
2 garlic cloves minced.
4 teaspoons oyster sauce.
8 teaspoons sesame seed oil.
2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar.
Asian Chili Oil, or hot sauce to taste.
1 pound large Shrimp.
1 cup snow peas.
1/2 cup waterchestnuts
White rice.
Combine five Spice powder, ginger, garlic, oyster sauce, vinegar and chili oil. Whisk to combine and then add the shrimp. Let them marinade in the Refrigerator 15-20 minutes.
Preheat your skillet medium-high. Add snow peas and 1/2 of the sesame oil. Cook on high 1-2 minutes, before adding Water chestnuts and Shrimp.
(be sure to get excess marinade off the shrimp before they go in the skillet.) Cook everything until shrimp are a nice firm white/pink color. (not more than five minutes)
Serve over Rice! Tasty and Easy to make!
