TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) - Police in Ohio say a fight between two students at the University of Toledo has left one dead and another injured.
University police say both men had been stabbed.
Officers say both were found Wednesday night outside a dormitory where they were staying during the school's holiday break.
Only a handful of students were staying in the building.
The school's police chief says the men knew each other and that this wasn't a random attack.
He says the fight took place in a stairwell inside the dormitory.
Police say the student who survived was found outside the front of the building, and the man who died was found about 10 minutes later.
No charges have been filed.

TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) - One person has died and another has been injured in stabbings on the University of Toledo's main campus.
In a statement on its website, the university says a stabbing was reported at 9 p.m. Wednesday at its International House. When officers arrived, they found an injured person and took the person to a local hospital.
University administrator Larry Burns says about 20 minutes later, police found a second victim who had died, apparently from injuries caused by a stabbing.
A university spokesman did not immediately respond to a request for comment early Thursday.
The university says International House is home to six students during the winter break, along with four staff members and four student workers. The Toledo Blade reports that when school is in session, about 400 students live there.
