A Florida father is charged after leaving his newborn at strip club.
Investigators said 26-year-old Kenneth Rowe Junior was drunk when he showed up at the Daytona Beach bar carrying the baby.
He asked a clerk to hold the baby so he could go outside and smoke a cigarette. The business owner immediately called 911.
Police said the father eventually returned and left with the baby.
"At two and a half months old on a freezing cold night and you just take this baby out, 11:30 at night, you wanna go to a dancing bar?" questioned Daytona Chief Police Chief Mike Chitwood.
Witnesses said Rowe was weaving in and out of traffic until he layed down on the ground. Police said he hid when officers showed up, but the baby gave him away when he started to cry.
The father was arrested and charged with neglect of a child.
