The families of three teenagers who caused extensive damage while vandalizing two local cemeteries are being sued for damages.
Three teens plead guilty to damaging the Saint Mary and Saint John cemeteries in Saint Bernard last year. They toppled 250 gravestones, damaged tombs and monuments, and set fires.
Since the teens are juveniles, the cemeteries have filed a lawsuit against their parents, to try to recoup the nearly $300,000 in damage done by the boys.
