Two men escape from a burning home in Deer Park early Thursday morning.One was forced to climb down a ladder from the roof to escape.
Firefighters arrived to find flames shooting out of a second-floor bedroom window of the home on Plainfield Road near Superior Avenue just after 12:30 a.m.
One of the men suffered minor burns.He was taken to University Hospital.
Investigators are checking to see if an electrical problem is to blame. The fire caused $50,000 in damage.
