The Dearborn County Health Department would like to remind all parents that these clinics are for the preschool and school aged children.  Other clinics will be announced in the future . The injectable form, the "shot", and the nasal form of the vaccine will be available at both evening clinics. Only the injectable form of the vaccine will be used during the school day for those students in grades 6-12 unless specifically requested otherwise.

Forms will be available at the clinics for any parent wanting to change from the "shot" to the nasal mist for their child. Dr Scudder, Dearborn County Health Officer explains, "All young healthy people between the ages of 2-49 years of age, with no underlying health conditions, should consider taking the nasal mist."

Health officials ask for patience as only limited quantities of vaccine have been received As more vaccine becomes available other clinics focusing on other high risk groups will be announced.
