You don't just reset a breaker when it trips. They trip because of excessive load that makes the wires hot. First unplug some high load items. At this time of year, a common device causing excess load is an electric space heater. People, when set at 1500w you are using up almost all the available electricity from a typical household lighting/receptacle circuit. You can't safely run a space heater on a circuit that has all sorts of other devices on it, plus the regular lights.
