Crews Battle House Fire In Campbell County

Firefighters from Southern Campbell County and Pendleton County are on the scene of a house fire on Clay Ridge Road just outside Grant's Lick.

The fire broke out just after 6 a.m. Friday morning.

Investigators on the scene said the fire started in the fireplace and went up into the chimney.

Crews from Southern Campbell County and Pendleton county responded.

The family who lives in the home should be able to go back inside in a few hours.
