Firefighters struggled to put out flames at a home in Anderson Township Friday morning.
The home was located roughly a half mile off Elstun Road forcing crews to run extremely long hoses.
Firefighters were called to the home just after midnight.
Investigators say the fire likely started on the roof of the garage.
Everyone in the home was able to make it out safely.
The homeowner tells Local 12 News he believes thick walls between the garage and home kept the flames from spreading.
