Crews in Boone County spent Thursday morning battling a barn fire.

911 dispatchers took multiple calls around 6:30 a.m. concerning flames shooting in the air somewhere near Chambers Road.

Upon investigation, crews discovered the barn off a long private driveway on fire.

Crews from Walton, Union and Verona all responded.

It wasn't immediately known what was inside the barn.
