Delta says, the aircrafts are old but why are they purchasing 100 seat aircrafts for the mainline Delta pilots to fly?? The Delta pilots are paid three times more than Comair pilots...Also, when they said Comair flights will be covered, they failed to mention that those pilots are inexperienced and flying for Delta for almost nothing. I don't want my life in the hands of an inexperienced pilot. Also, maybe someone should check the reliability of those other airlines, and how Comair has picked up their slack. It's a shame that this beautiful airport in Cincinnati that use to have thousands of people flying through on a daily basis, has been destroyed by Delta. Delta has made empty promises to the Northern Kentucky/Cincinnati area by promising not to leave, but once they purchased Northwest, they deserted us. I hope that some other airline takes over Cincinnati and shows Delta what a profitable wonderful place Cincinnati is and always was. We deserve more!!

Those who owned and were at the top of Comair will fly off with millions, but this will be devastating to normal employees. Comair was one of the best connection airlines at peak. We even flew Comair to the Bahamas once, no problem. The airline industry seems to come and go, but has not been the same since 9/11. As for Cincinnatus - "Obama gestapo unit"?? You really should get a grip on yourself....

I fly nearly every Monday and Friday and I have never been dehumanized or humiliated by the TSA. Nor have I seen anyone else experience such. Just sayin. In fact, I find it quite hilarious that people think the TSA workers actually "enjoy" having to search people, or that people actually think there is some TSA guy/girl getting off on their body scan image in a back room somewhere. HA what a joke some people are.

I will never fly Delta again! Delta has messed over Cincinnati on too many times. It blocked other carriers from using CVG, forced closings of terminals built by the airport, forced customers to go to other cities for lower air fares. Flight from CVG are the most expensive in the country. We need low fare airlines and Delta needs to leave. We have lost businesses to other cities due to the hub being closed in the way it was. I will NEVER fly Delta again! Comair employees has done nothing but sacrifice and look at the way they are treated.

Aww, c'mon, Cincinnatus - "The TSA was created as part of the Aviation and Transportation Security Act, sponsored by Don Young in the United States House of Representatives[2] and Ernest Hollings in the Senate,[3] passed by the 107th U.S. Congress, and signed into law by President George W. Bush on November 19, 2001. Originally part of the United States Department of Transportation, the TSA was moved to the Department of Homeland Security on March 25, 2003." I am pretty sure the assinine procedures would have progressed as they have anyway...but heck, 2 out of 3 ain't bad!

I don't know if statistics support this notion, but I think flying has dropped off for the following reasons: 1.) Cost increases. 2.) Less discretionary income due to Obamaflation, and gasoline budget. 3.) Humiliating and dehumanizing procedures by the Obama Gestapo Unit, uh, I mean TSA.

Well, Delta reps did say they were going to "explore strategic alternatives for Comair".
