Children's Home Holds Labor Day Fireworks Party

The Children's Home of Northern Kentucky is holding a fireworks party.

See the WEBN Fireworks from one of the best views of the Ohio River, Devou Park in Covington. Tickets are available online for $35. Children 12 and under free.

There will be entertainment and children’s activities, picnic food and adult beverages available for purchase. Parking is free.

The event starts Sunday, Sept. 2, 2012 at 5 p.m.

This would make it worthwhile to go downtown to see the fireworks again. I haven't been to riverfest since they stopped providing the metro service between Northgate mall and the lodge level of Riverfront Stadium.
