BATESVILLE, Ind. - A tiny, but mighty bakery is offering a special cherry treat you can only get once a year, in honor of President's Day.
Cherry Thing-A-Lings, made by Schmidt Bakery in Batesville, are like cherry fritters. They're in honor of George Washington and the cherry tree.
The bakery is located at 125 Batesville Shopping Village, off of I-74, about an hour from downtown Cincinnati.
In addition to Thing-A-Lings, you can get cherry pies, cherry tarts, and cherry center-filled donuts and much more.
You can get them Saturday, February 16, from 4:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Sunday, February 17, from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Monday, February 18, from 4:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. They will serve until they run out on Monday.
