A man was transported to University Hospital after his car went airborne after crashing on westbound I-74.
It happened at 2:55 a.m. near the 169 mile marker Thursday morning in Harrison Township.
Police said the driver drifted off the road then overcorrected and then hit a guardrail. The car then went airborne
and into the trees on Pepper Mill Road.
The man complained of shoulder pain as he was loaded in the medical helicopter.
His identity hasn't been released.
