Firefighters say 20 residents of an apartment in Middletown are now without a home after a dangerous blaze early Friday morning.
The fire at the Bavarian Woods Apartments in Middletown began around 2:25 a.m. Three buildings were affected.
Middletown firefighters as well as Franklin, Liberty Township, Monroe and Trenton units were on the scene and the fire spread through several layers of the building, making it difficult and dangerous to fight.
Most residents in the affected units are now staying with relatives. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
