Jazz legend Branford Marsalis stopped by the Local 12 Studios Wednesday morning to talk about his Friday night concert at Music Hall.
Classical Roots is a one-night-only concert program presented by the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra. It's designed to celebrate African-American musical influences and heritages.
The program started in 2001 with just one church and has now grown to incorporate dozens of churches.
You’ll hear familiar works by Beethoven, John Williams, Quincy Jones and music from the Great American Songbook
The concert is Friday, March 15, 2013 at 7:30 p.m.
