The Sandyland Acres farm in Petersburg, Ky. Is located off the beaten path. You have to travel miles of winding country roads to get there.
But hundreds of people do it every weekend in October, to get a Halloween thrill at their haunted hayride.
"About 3/4 of the trail has been redesigned this year", said Gene Webb one of the owners of the farm.
"We gone back to recreating horror movie scenes," added Webb.
About 25 people at a time are pulled through corn fields where fear awaits thrill seekers at each turn.
The hayride takes about 25 minutes. However, the lines can be long, so be prepared to wait as the date draws closer to Halloween. Admission is $12. Group rates are available as is a "fast pass" for an upcharge.
The hayride is open 8 p.m. to midnight Friday and Saturdays through November 3. Sandyland Acres is located at 4172 Belleview Road, Petersburg, exit 11 off I-275. Call 859-322-0516 for more information.
There is also a "farmer's revenge" barn. It costs $10 a person. However, you can buy a combo pack for both the haunted hayride and the barn for $20. Kids five and under are free.
