The Cincinnati Bengals and The Freestore/Foodbank say fans were generous during their annual canned food drive, held prior to the Baltimore Ravens game this past Sunday.
Bengal fans donated 9,234 pounds of non-perishable and canned goods, 1,604 pounds greater than in 2008.
In addition, Bengals fans gave $11,061 in cash donations to help feed the hungry in our community, a $3,041 increase over 2008.
The Cincinnati Bengals sincerely thank all of their fans for their generosity in supporting this effort. The donations will go to the Freestore/Foodbank.
