If she was sick, she was sick. Anyway, where's the mayor and whoever else is working. Is she the only one that deals with money. I doubt it.

Whoever is her boss: can you say Backfill or Temp Agency? What did you do when she went on vacation, or are you like every other USA company, take vacation and get fired.
