Cincinnati firefighters report a fire in Mt. Auburn caused about $100,000 worth of damage.
It happened on East Liberty Hill around midnight Tuesday morning.
Crews said the fire broke out in a third floor apartment.
The fire chief tells Local 12 News a man emptied his ashtray into the garbage then it caught fire.
No one was hurt.
Everyone else who lived in the building was able to return to their apartments.
