Suspect sketch released in fatal Norwood shooting

NORWOOD, Ohio (WKRC) -- Police release a composite sketch of a man wanted for a double shooting in Norwood that left a young woman dead. Someone shot and killed Porshia Lynn Brooks and wounded her boyfriend, Aron Martin, during a robbery November 16 on Carthage Avenue.

Neighbors said they heard gunshots that night but didn't see anything suspicious. Later, a many walking by found Brooks in her car. Martin was standing outside covered in blood. Brooks later died. They had once worked together at the zoo. Police say there's no evidence drugs were involved in the robbery and shooting.

The shooter is believed to be in his early 20s. He's described as 5' 9" and 175 with a thin build. He's got corn rows and a beard. If you have any information, you're asked to call Crime Stoppers at 352-3040. You never have to give your name.
