Bond Set for Mother Charged with Burning Daughter

WOODLAWN, Ohio (WKRC) -- Bond is set Friday for a quarter million dollars for a Woodlawn woman accused of severely burning her daughter as a punishment for using a phone.

Officers say 34-year-old Andriel Mathis forced the 14-year-old's hands onto a hot stove top several times.  It happened at a home on Faxon Court.

According to court documents the teen suffered second and third-degree burns on both hands.

Mathis is charged with felonious assault.Bond Set for Mother Charged with Burning Daughter
