Pull Up Those Pants!
HOUSTON, TX (WKRC) -- Two Houston McDonald's are saying, "No shoes, no shirt, no baggy pants, no service!"
The businesses have banned low-slung pants, although the rule doesn't apply to young children, and the signs say, "Pull your pants up or don't come in."
A McDonald's spokesperson said that individual franchises are free to impose their own dress code policies. And while the trend is starting in Houston, Dallas Council Member Dwaine Caraway has made it his personal mission to "stop saggers."
Caraway told Yahoo Shine men wearing pants that expose their underwear, "..shows a tremendous disrespect for society, themselves, and especially women."
Leggings, skinny jeans, and t-shirts with offensive slogans have also been targeted by businesses and schools to be banned. Although saggy pants are the most targeted.
