Boy with heart defect uses charity wish to treat dad to day at the race track
UNDATED -- Rhys Evans is only 8-years-old, but he's already had two life-saving heart surgeries to deal with his congenital heart defect, Fallot's Tetralogy.
After his last surgery, Rays of Sunshine Children's Charity offered to grant him a wish, but young Rhys didn't want the wish for himself, instead, he asked for his dad, Darryl, to be treated to a day at the race track.
Darryl explains what this day meant to him and his family just in time for Father's Day.
