The answer is: 2. 11 seed
Both LSU and George Mason University were eleven seeds when they made their way to the Final Four. George Mason found themselves in the semifinals in 2006. They were beaten by Florida 73-58. Florida went on to win the championship that year. LSU was just an eleven seed when they made the Final Four in 1986. They lost to Louisville in the semifinals 88-77. Louisville won the title that year.
