Lockland Police say a man with a concealed carry permit fired on three people trying to rob him on Sunday. The three suspects were injured-the victim was shaken but unharmed.

The confrontation happened on North Wayne Avenue at 3 p.m. Sunday. Police tell us the suspects approached the man in an alley as he arrived at his workplace. But the victim just happens to have a concealed carry permit and took matters into his own hands.

Police say the trio ordered the victim to hand over his money.  Shots were fired. The three suspects were shot and had to go to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

A witness spoke to Local 12's Adam Clements. He was just a few feet from the gun fire and says, "I jumped out of the way..to make sure I didn't get shot. The violence is just too much..too overbearing. I mean two crimes right in front of this house in two days straight. It's just not something I want to deal with again."

Two of the three suspects are juveniles and police say one of them was actually shot in the face but was just grazed and will only need stitches. Lockland Police tell us they expect charges to be filed through the Hamilton County Prosecutor's office.

Hope this is a lesson not to do bad thing to good people. If not hope the next time the Concealed Carry victim is a better shot.

Three hoodlums got a little taste of hurt seems like. Poor little misunderstood boys, they are so good, got good grades, go to school every day, mommy and daddy is there to talk to them and make sure they behave. Bull!

I'm glad to see the news media starting to report these stories. They happen every day around the nation but are ignored by the news. They just want to push the anti-gun adgenda.

My question is ....Charges against who? The robbers or the shooter? Surely they shouldn't be charging the shooter with anything...that was in self-defense!
