The Georgetown Post of the Ohio Slate Highway Patrol has released the name of a woman killed in a crash in Mount Orab on Thursday morning. Troopers say 62 year old Charlotte Brown of Winchester slid on ice and hit an SUV head-one.

The crash happened just before 6 a.m. on the US 68 bridge deck crossing over top of SR 32.  Brown was traveling southbound on US 68 when she slid left of center and hit a vehicle driven by 37 year old  Walter Feck of Mount Orab, Ohio.

Both drivers were wearing their safety belts at the time of the crash. Brown died at the scene. Feck was taken by ambulance to Mount Orab Mercy with non-life threatening injuries.

Alcohol and/or drugs do not appear to be a factor in the crash.
