One person is dead after a police chase and crash in Butler County that started with a tinted window violation.

The pursuit began around 11:20 on Pippin and Houston Roads in Colerain Township. Hamilton County Deputies tell Local 12 that an officer tried to pull over 32 year old Aaron Williams for a tinted window violation. But the driver did not stop and a pursuit ensued.

The vehicle being pursued crashed a half a mile away, at Pippin and John Gray Roads, which is just over the Butler County line in Fairfield. Williams was killed. He was the only person on the vehicle.

Hamilton County Sheriff is leading the investigation, since it was their pursuit. They also say they found a small amount of marijuana in the car. Williams also had 13 active license suspensions.
