GREENVILLE, Ohio (AP) - Authorities say five people were killed in three weekend crashes in western Ohio.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol said all of the crashes occurred in Darke County, northwest of Dayton.
Three teenagers - two of them 16 and the other 15 - from Greenville were killed in one crash Saturday night. Preliminary reports said speed could have been a factor.
The Dayton Daily News reports that a 43-year-old Arcanum woman was killed earlier Saturday when she failed to stop at an intersection and crashed into a semi. Her 13-year-old passenger was extricated and taken to a hospital.
Another fatal crash was reported about 15 miles away on Saturday morning.
