Goshen Township Police have arrested three people, charged in a prostitution ring at a mobile home park.

At the beginning of the month, police received a tip about prostitution at the Fay Gardens Mobile Home Park.

Officers posed as potential clients and were offered sex for money.

Investigators arrested two women, Shannon Hawk and Shannon Walker and charged them with prostitution.

Police also charged Justin Hawk with promoting prostitution. He's accused of pimping out his sister.

Both Hawks were released from jail.

Walker remains in the Clermont County Jail.

How are three people in a trailer park a Tri-State prostitution ring? Wish the Editor knew how to use spell-check.

I believe the Hawk's parents should receive some sort of parenting award.

Even where prostitution is legal, there still is a lot of those problems. Children are being kidnapped and taken to foreign countries often where prostitution is legal, to be used as sex slaves.

Some aspects of prostitution are indeed horrible because the illegality make them that way.

I disagree. For the most part prostitution is horrible. Prostitution should be illegal in most places. With prostitution; most often includes other crimes; disease, drugs, violence, assaults, vandalism, extortion, harassment, litter, noise, alcoholism, theft, mental illness, and sometimes even abductions, murder and slavery. For some reason it seems often where there is prostitution, the government officials are particularly corrupt & derelict.

Just legalize it. We can't put everybody in jail. Sometimes I think that's what some people want. Everybody but them.

Prostitution often involves or is connected with the other crimes that you mentioned. It’s often good to take them off the street and knock them down a few notches on whatever charges you can get them on. Justin Hawk has been charged with in the past. Domestic violence, Assault, Burglary, Aggravated Trespass, Domestic violence of pregnant victim, Breaking and Entering, Obstructing Justice, Possession of Heroin, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Criminal Tools, and Theft.
