Crews spent hourse cleaning up after a street sweeper caught fire, caused a fuel spill. The fire led to the closing of River Road in Sedamsville on early Thursday morning for about six hours.
Emergency crews say the street sweeper caught fire near the Speedway gas station at Steiner around 3:45 a.m. Officials say the fire penetrated the truck's fuel line, leading to a fuel spill. A contractor used a special chemical to clean the fuel off the road.
The road reopened at 9:45 a.m.
