This is, word for word, the same article on other news sites. There is no real information as to why the child was at the lot. He may not have been 'playing'. He & his family might have been walking down the street & cut through this lot. Columbus isn't a big city, and I've never seen anyone let their 5-year old play alone there. I live close to the area and am in Columbus all the time. Some news reporter made assumptions because of a lack of real information. What is really important is hoping the child isn't traumatized by what he saw; hopefully he won't remember this after a nap and some cartoons.
