CLAYTON, N.J. (AP) - The small New Jersey town where a missing girl's body is believed to have been found has turned from desperate searching to mourning.

Officials say a body preliminarily identified as 12-year-old Autumn Pasquale was found in a recycling bin in Clayton around 10 p.m. Monday.

That was about 48 hours after her family reported her missing and two hours after community members gathered blocks away for a candlelight vigil filled with both tears and hope.

On Tuesday morning, Clayton Mayor Thomas Bianco asked that the family be given room to grieve.

An autopsy was to be conducted Tuesday. No arrests have been announced in the case.

Nothing will EVER change until the people in this country stand together and DEMAND it, Politicians and Judiciary workers do not care until or unless it happens to their loved ones, which is more unlikely to happen to them because we are paying them all too much money for the lousy job they do, so therefore they live in better places with more security measures in place for them. Condolences to this little girls family.

Cara654 I agree with you wholeheartedly. Find them, be sure of their guilt or if they confess. Kill them. I'm tired of my money being spent to house, cloth, feed, provide for recreation and health care for child killers and predators and molesters. You're right. They will not change. They love that thing they do. They are evil and do not deserve any simpathy or compassion. I feel for the families of such people, but they too must understand that they will never ever change their lives. It's terrible to have such feelings but I do.

When in the hel* is something REALLY going to be done about violence against children? When we have Scout Leaders and the Catholic church for God's sake, hiding perverts it makes me wonder if the men in U.S. really take this seriously. OUR ENTIRE JUDICIAL SYSTEM AND GOVERNMENT NEEDS OVERHAULED. The people in the judicial system and government obviously are imcompetent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Folks, something has got to be done about child predators. These stories of young girls being abducted and killed is making me so sick, and I just think that these people have to be caught and utterly destroyed. They are nothing but animals, and with animals that are doing something dangerous to the herd, you cull them. Once you have absolute evidence that you have the correct person (DNA)there should be no time spent living on the tax payer's dime in jail. There is no rehabilitation possible for a person who would do this kind of crime. Send them back to the Universe so they can come back as a flea.
