The Aurora Police Department is currently investigating a crash in which a man died early Monday morning.
It happened around 12:30 a.m. on Billingsley Drive.
Officers say 25 year old Aric Shinkle of Aurora was driving a pickup truck which went off the road and hit several trees before coming to rest in the front yard of a home.
Shinkle's passenger, 25 year old Robert Martin was trapped in the truck. He and Shinkle were taken to Dearborn County Hospital, where Martin died. Shinkle was later transported to The University of Cincinnati Hospital where his condition is unknown.
The crash remains under investigation by the Aurora Police Department.
