The driver of the car will probably suffer with guilt for the rest of his life. We ALL did stupid things when we were young, these kids just got caught. My condolences to the family of the boy who died, and my prayers for the boy who was driving.

Will our teenagers never learn that cars are not play things? How stupid is riding on the hood of a car? The driver will never ever get over what he allowed to happen while he was driving, but he needs some kind of punishment for this stupidity.

I've seen drivers of all ages to reckless, dangerous, erratic and downright STUPID things, male and female. Being a teen has little to do with anything. Cell phones and texting brings out the self-centered in folks of all ages. "Reality? That ends the the tip of my nose, it does!" Condolences to the family.

I agree the driver of the car should be charged with something. The driver knew better and there should be consequences for your actions.

I am hoping cars of the future will have more and more technology to control and monitor how teens are behaving behind the wheel. The driver of the Honda probably should face charges since he was driving -- he is responsible for allowing this to happen....

OMGosh! Young males are so stupid @ that age. This is another reason why kids shouldn't get their drivers license until they are 20 or so.

If only teens could be convinced they are NOT immortal and they are not going to 'live forever'...so sad, tragic and preventable :( Yeah, I do remember...'never trust anyone over 30' was our mantra!
