NAPERVILLE, Ill. (AP) - Beneath a seemingly ordinary domestic facade in a Chicago-area suburb harsh resentments between a husband and wife festered and spiraled into shocking violence, prosecutors say, ending in the stabbing deaths of two children.

Elzbieta Plackowska, a 40-year-old Polish immigrant living in Naperville, is accused of killing her own 7-year-old son, Justin, and a 5-year-old girl she was babysitting. Authorities say Justin was stabbed 100 times.

Naperville's police chief said the crime scene was the most gruesome sight he'd witnessed in three decades on the job.

DuPage County prosecutors say Plackowska committed the crime out of anger at her often-absent, truck driver husband.

Plackowska was charged late Wednesday with first-degree murder. Authorities say she had no record of violence, and a judge Thursday appointed a public defender to take her case.

I feel so bad for the father of those two children may their mother rot in hell. On a sidenote am I the only person that gets annoyed when they say babysitting? Babysitting is what you do to children that aren't your own, for your own children you are caring for them. Of course in this psychos case caring doesn't fit either.

Tie her to the ground & leave her for the coyotes (or whatever comes along). My heart breaks for those poor little kids...

Heck with it, deport her to a prison in her own country...probably not as cushy as our prisons, and lets face it, even if she gets the death penalty, it may never come to pass...deport her back and let them deal with her.

Simple solution. Kill her quickly with as many stab wounds as she gave those children.

Well there goes 4 or 5 years outta her life she'll never get back,I that because that's probably all she'll get since they don't kill people for MURDERING people any more. They'll reduce the charge to child endangerment. Her husband should take her out and drag her behind his truck with tow chains around her ankles, FACE DOWN.

Uh, and this wench did not think to take this up with the person she felt was pissing her off instead of 2 tiny tots who were her responsibility? I wish I could think of an apt punishment for this jackwad, but I do not it would be anything our 'justice' system would allow...People soooo freaking SUCK!
