The Hamilton County Grand Jury returned an indictment today against a man for the murder of a women, whose bones were found nine months ago in an East End home.   52-year-old Kim Brown is believed to have died sometimes between November 2005 and December 2006.  Now Richard Kuhn stands charged with aggravated murder for her death.

Brown's bones were discovered in the basement of a house on Riverside Drive near Watson Street in September, 2011.

Investigators searched the basement after intercepting a letter from Richard Kuhn - who is serving time in jail. Police say the letter was written by Kuhn and advised a family member living in the house to move the body. Kuhn had apparently learned that work was planned on the home.

Police say Brown testified against Kuhn in 1993 for robbing a Clermont County convenience store. She was last seen in 2005. The coroner ruled her death a homicide by undetermined means.

Back in September, just after the discovery was made, Kuhn's nephew told Local 12 that Brown's body was found below the floorboards in an addition of the house and was accessed by a basement crawlspace.  The nephew says police told him the body was wrapped in blankets and plastic and the remains had decomposed so much that only bones remained. The nephew says he does not remember  Brown nor does he remember any odor coming from the basement.

Richard T. Kuhn lived at the house the summer of 2010.  Neighbors tell Local 12 that Kuhn was in and out of jail during his time on Riverside Drive.  He is now serving a five year sentence for burglary at the Warren County Correctional facility.

Kuhn is now facing charges of aggravated murder, murder, tampering with evidence and gross abuse of a corpse in Brown's death. If convicted on all charges, he could face life in prison.
