Police monitored what looked like a gathering of the KKK in Grant County Saturday night.

The group came together near the McDonalds on Violet Road in Crittenden.

Some people were dressed in robes and hoods.

Witnesses tell Local 12 News members of the group were waving at passing cars from both sides of the road.

Bypassers were hanging out of cars taking pictures of the gathering.

Members of the Kentucky State Police and Grant County Sheriff's Department monitored the situation.

Ammy you might want to read a little the KKK has not been involved in anything like that since the 60's ( as disgusted as it was ) but the occupy movement has been involved in criminal activity recently so sheesh !

"Not as bad as the criminals of the occupy movement , at least they haven't destroyed public property , cost working people a days pay , hidden rapes , spit on innocent coast guard officer who just happen to be walking by or attack police officers with bricks"...see?, this is what happens when folks forget to learn the lessons of history...you think the Occupy folks thought that crap up first, plus don't forget church burnings, murders, etc...sheesh!

Just becasue they are a member of the KKK does not mean they live in a trailer park. All trailer parks are not the same.

The picture showed about 8 people in this "KKK" Meeting. They're so scarce anymore it's not worth writing home about.

They will use this handful of ignorant fools as justification to continue the government mandated discrimination against white people called "affirmative action".

It is their *constitutional right* to peaceably gather. It is their *constitutional right* to have opinions that do not fall within the mainstream "norm". Our grandfathers, fathers, sons, and daughters fought and died to preserve these rights for everyone, even the ------- of the KKK, the American N azi party, the American Communist party, and all others who have opinions that are not coincidental with those of society at large. They (the KKK and the American N azi party) do not have a chance of election anyway so why bother with them?

firecaptain, Equal rights, not special rights. I'm sick of this whole rights crap. I'm sick of walking on thin ice just so some can feel equal. Not everybody IS equal.

starshine I think the politically correct term would be panthers of color or african american panthers but not sure since the NAACP uses National Association of Colored People so maybe you can use colored people panthers but only if you are black , african american or a colored person ( not acceptable to use this if you are white )
