Horsemeat Found In Ikea's Swedish Meatballs

The company's Swedish branch announced on its Facebook page that it won't sell or serve any meatballs at its stores in Sweden out of concern for "potential worries among our customers."

SEROUSLY???? The article says "The sample of one brand sold by British supermarket kingpin Tesco was more than a quarter horse." Bet you need a BIG BUN for something like that!!!!

I honestly dont see what the big deal is?? Its meat. Is it ok to slaughter some animals for food and not others?? Its not like it was dog meat

I was actually having my lunch when I saw this headline, yuck! I don't really like instant/processed meals, but you never really know what you are getting at restaurants. People on this website are consistently anti-govt, but what would we be eating without the work done by food inspectors/FDA/USDA?

i really think i am about to go vegetarian!!! its either that or stop watching the news.It does not sound like we had any in our local IKEA but i do have a few dinners in my freezer of the meat balls and guess where they are going when i get home!! straight to the garbage.
