The Butler County Sheriff has released the names of two Hamilton men killed in a crash on Friday morning. 22 year old Alden Little and 29 year old James Brown died around 4 a.m. today.

Deputies say Little was driving north on Eaton Road when he failed to negotiate a curve near the intersection with Hogue Road. The vehicle traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck a small clump of trees. The impact crushed the vehicle and tore the engine from the frame.

Both men were thrown from the vehicle and died at the scene.

Initial investigation indicates that speed was definitely a factor in the crash. The results of additional toxicology tests are pending.

The incident remains under investigation by the Butler County Serious Traffic Accident Reconstruction Team (S.T.A.R.T.) and the Butler County Coroner’s Office.
