A gun prevents crime once again. The woman would be in a legal gray area here. She could be subject to arrest by an overzealous police office, and conviction by a gun hating prosecutor. She would be fairly safe from that here in Hamilton County but perhaps not so in liberal Toledo. We need laws that solidly protect the law abiding gun carrier such as the woman in this story.
