Earthquakes are being recorded in many places fracking is done. Just because the corporate monkeys say fracking isn't the cause, doesn't mean it isn't so. We've been told, too, that those millions of gallons of oil floating in the bottom of the ocean aren't doing any environmental damage. Like we're going to buy THAT bridge.

Sebastian, that's just not nice. I did some reasearch & found out that fracking IS done in that area. I am not a 'global warming nut'. Fracking is not safe. Why don't you stop calling names and do some research yourself, unless you're on the payroll of some mining company, that is. Then you know the truth, and simply try to make others feel bad for exposing it. Seems to be a pattern of many people on these comment boards.

lee62 you are very uneducated on the fracking process...that is a global warming nuts way to blame anything on fossil fuels...fracking is very safe and effects no groung water on causes earthquakes...and this doesnt happen where in places where its done...grow up

@CVG how could you tell an earthquake from a jumbo jet landing or taking off?

Shale gas fracking is done in that vicinity; I wouldn't be surprised if that particular process is responsible for this. It's starting to happen in lots of places where fracking is done.
