in reviewing these comments i can see that there must be some really ruthless people in this world. none of this is your business. we have suffered a tremendous loss and all you want to comment is negatives. hum---you must be perfect. to the normal people who send their love and prayers may God richly bless you. my son was an awesome person who was returning home from taking his son to karate class which he drives from mt healthy to amelia. you want to know why? because he told me he researched it and it was the most Christian based place he could find. he also drove to clarksville to attend church and functions 3-4 times a week. he is a good samaritan and would help anyone who needed it. just recently he filled the tank of a lady who was trying to get her children to school, when he didnt have the money to spare. maybe you should try to live your life before others like he did, then maybe you could leave a legacy behind as he did. he was a caring loving person to all. it really saddens me to know that people define you on your outer appearance rather than your inner beauty. he was my only son of whom without the lords help its unbearable to get through this. then i read statements like some of these and i pray you never have to face anything comparable to this. please consider others when you are making comments that you really have no knowledge about. dont point your finger at my son for im sure you have skeletons in your closet. some of you people need to get a life!!! the lord has called him home to escape people like you. with love from an angry mother

the person who wrote the comment about my sons weight who just died and left his 7 year old son without a father, first of all could not have been paying attention to their own driving to have seen that much detail. you dont know what your talking about. first of all he was the most amazing person i have ever known and he would have even stopped to help a moron like you if you needed it. you should be ashamed of your self. i dont wear a seatbelt at times and it has nothing to do with weight..if only you had his character this world would be a better place. why does this matter to you? my son is dead and you write something like this about him.you make me sick

I was on a curvy country road, doing about 25 (and slowing down for a tight curve), when a little deer jumped out of nowhere, right in front of my car. It survived, but there was still about $1700 in damages to my front end, dag-nabbit. I was even LOOKING for deer and that critter surprised me.

aj0305 - I wasn't trying to be rude about his weight. And I will sincerely apologize if it came off that way. I only said 'seriously' because the article didn't mention it, and I didn't know if people knew that. I was merely stating a fact.

Old Lady: Don't agree with you. The speed limit is 60-65 and the man had his kids in the car. We know he wasn't SPEEDING. You've probably never had a deer run out in front of your car. I have. Even hitting a deer at 40 miles an hour can cause problems. They fly up on the hood and sometimes through the windshield. Seen it happen. Deers cause accidents. This was an accident. I'm so sorry for both these families. Especially the man who died with his little boy in the car. God rest his soul and give these families peace in this terrible time.

@Aloysious, it says in the report that the driver hit the deer so saying "who didn't even hit or try to miss the deer" is false. Have you ever had a deer jump out in front of you while driving? I'd imagine going 65 mph on the interstate at night and having a deer jump out onto the road doesn't allow for much reaction time, but hey, that's just a theory. @Old Lady, were you on the scene to know that driving too fast caused this accident(yes, and I'm referring to this as an accident)? Did you read the story? A driver struck a dear after it jumped out on to the highway, leaving the car disabled in the center lane. The secondary vehicle went to swerve to miss the immobile vehicle and struck it. I don't know about you but I don't expect to find many idle cars sitting in the middle of the highway. While I agree he should have been wearing a seat belt, you cannot make accusations as to how the accident happened, especially if you weren't there. A deer hit my car and I was sitting at a stop sign. Was I speeding? Something to think about.

Oh. I LOVE how comments are mashed into walls of unbroken hard-to-read text! Nice touch. "When the end of the world comes, I want to be in Cincinnati because it's always twenty years behind the times." - Twain
