Security at Paul Brown Stadium is turning away people who had hoped to receive a pair of free tickets to Sunday's game against the Houston Texans.

broadcast live on Local 12 at one p.m.The team gave the official word to Local 12 just before 2 p.m. Friday. In spite of the blackout being lifted, there are seats remaining for the game. They can be purchased by phone through the Bengals Ticket Hotline at 513-621-8383 (TDTD) until 5 p.m. today or between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Saturday. Additionally, tickets may be ordered at any time today or Saturday through www.ticketmaster.com
. Also, tickets may be purchased in person at the Bengals ticket office at Paul Brown Stadium until 5 p.m. today, between 9 a.m. and noon Saturday and on game day beginning at 9 a.m.
The Bengals, Local 12 (CBS affiliate WKRC-TV in Cincinnati) and Motorola worked together to ensure the blackout would be lifted. As part of this plan, Motorola will give away 1200 tickets (600 pairs of tickets) to Bengals fans for free, starting at 11:30 am Saturday. Motorola is a long-time sponsor of the Bengals and has a newly aligned partnership with Bengals WR Chad Ochocinco.
Upon hearing that news, some 600 people went to the stadium and camped out all night. Security gave those dedicated fans wristbands and began turning people away.
The lifting of the blackout means that the Bengals will extend to 47 their franchise-record streak of consecutive sellouts for regular and postseason games. The streak is now sure to reach at least 48, as the next home game -- Oct. 25 vs. Chicago -- had previously been declared a sellout.
