Beverages and liquor

When choosing the type of beverages to serve at your reception, you may need to consider your budget. Liquor, champagne, and other drinks can be an important part of the reception, but they can be very expensive. Prices will vary depending on the brands you choose. It is traditional to have punch or champagne to toast at your reception. If you decide to serve alcohol at your reception, you have several different options. If your reception is at a hotel, you may want to see how much it would cost per drink. You may want to consider a cocktail hour instead of an open bar. Another choice is to serve wine only at dinner. If you are on a tight budget, consider a champagne punch. A less expensive way to serve alcohol is to buy it through a liquor dealer. They will usually deliver the bottles to your reception and only charge you for the ones that are opened. They may also be able to recommend types or brands of alcohol that will fit your budget. It is also best to provide non-alcoholic drinks at your wedding such as punch, coffee, soft drinks, or even non-alcoholic champagne. For more information on beverages and liquor, contact a caterer or wedding specialist.
