If you are headed for multiple destinations, you may want to pack light for your honeymoon so as to not burden yourselves while traveling. Depending on your destination, you may want to pack dressy clothes for the evening or, if you are headed to the beach, casual wear and one or two dressy outfits might be fine. Remember to pack plenty of suntan lotion, film, and any prescription drugs you are taking. If you are leaving the country, plan on checking with your doctor about immunizations or medicine to take with you for stomach ailments. Take most of your money in traveler's checks for security. Also, include a major credit card for car rentals or large purchases. Label your luggage and make a list of all luggage contents. This will be helpful if needed for claiming any losses. Take your driver's license, marriage certificate, and passport or visa, if needed. Leave your destination and hotel plans with both families, in case they need to reach you. For additional information on what to take on your honeymoon, contact a travel agent in your area.
