Travel agents can provide first-hand knowledge of destinations that can make the final decision on where to go for your honeymoon much easier. They can recommend the best places to stay within your budget, and they have information air fare rates and specials. In addition, travel agents can give you tips on things to do, and what to take with you. Once you decide where you would like to go, they will help plan the rest. Travel agents can even help with money matters. Discuss with them the amount of money you wish to spend, the length of time you have, and what both of you like and want to do. Perhaps a relaxing week on a secluded beach suits you both. Or an active week of skiing may be more to your liking. Start by asking friends and co-workers for recommendations on travel agents they have worked with. Then, stop by and look through the color brochures the travel agency carries on your planned destination. For more information on choosing a honeymoon destination, contact a travel agent in your area.
