Children love frozen treats, and the best part about these is they're not just good, they're good for you! The first recipe requires popsicle sticks, wax paper, a cookie sheet, and ripe bananas. To begin, make sure there's space for the cookie sheet in your freezer. Next, lay a sheet of wax paper on the cookie sheet. Now you're ready to cut the bananas in half. It's easier to peel them after you've sliced them. Next, insert a popsicle stick into the cut end of the bananas. Place the bananas on the wax paper, and then cover them with a second layer of the paper. Once frozen, these are a sweet, nutritious treat. Best of all, even children who aren't fond of bananas seem to enjoy these banana pops! The second no-cook recipe also uses the freezer. You'll need an ice cube tray that makes larger size ice cubes, popsicle sticks, cling wrap, and fruit juice. Simply pour the juice into the tray, cover it with the wrap, and poke the sticks through the plastic into each cube section. For an extra special treat, pop a grape or strawberry into each section before covering.
