A cat from Idaho is back with its owners after spending three days stuck on a utilty pole.

The fire department said it couldn't help the family because of the live wires.

Originally the power company said it was against policy. But after many phone calls from the family and concerned neighbors, they had a change of heart.
But Fritz the cat got spooked by her rescuer and climbed up higher.

The power company had to turn off the electric to the top wires before Fritz was safely returned to her owners arms.

Dazed, I totally agree. As you say, thankfully, there are more people who care about animals than those who don't. There's hope for the world as long as that holds true. I'm gonna go hug my cat now. :>)

lee- yea, i see by a couple of dumb comments that people just dont get it, and thats just the way they think. no sense in arguing. im glad the majority dont think that way, or the animals would have horrible lives under the power of the almighty human.

I have seen people who hate America, Western Civilization , and now the human species. More and more we see neurotic people who personify animals. I wish they would outlaw the cruel cutting of grass.

Lee-you have more venom than a pit viper. I have not exhibited any of these characteristics you are accusing me of. Just because you are a cat lover and I am not does not give you the right to spew your venom all over this site. I believe animals will be in heaven and as far as saving you, if given the chance, I definitely would!

Dazed, I'm sure that attitude exists because "animals have no souls and they don't go to heaven" theory. Another man-made fable put on paper. As far as I'm concerned, it's Man who has no soul.

Rosey, if I had a choice of saving a pit bull or you, I'd save the pit bull (or even a skunk).

Dazed, I second all your comments. Pretty low attitude for a so-called religious person. Good at pointing out others' flaws, making degrading comments, denigrating others' beliefs, all typical 'christian' behavior. And, yes, the "I'M PERFECT AND YOU'RE NOT AND HERE'S WHY" label does fit.

dazed- I don't like cats, never have and never will. Some people do not like snakes and would do nothing to help save one. Is this any different? I resent you telling me my attitude is disgusting. I love dogs, pigs, goats, all wild animals, etc. Not cats. So don't make me out as some kind of sadist because I would not do anything to save a cat!

rosey red- you dont have to be perfect to be a decent human being. "i would do nothing to save one either." that comment alone tells me your not. yea, that is my problem. i have a big problem with attitudes like yours towards defenseless animals. disgusting.

dazed- I see nothing hateful to any person in my comment. I do not like cats, I would never kill one but would do nothing to save one either. I guess this makes me a hypocrite, huh? I never professed to be perfect (religious) but do profess a faith in Jesus Christ. I guess my dislike of certain things disqualifies me to be a Christian, according to you. Well, I am sorry, that is your problem, not mine!
