and for chicken salad? wow, if it were a piece of bacon, the dog probbaly would have helped them carry the loot out too.

I find little comfort in the fact that something worse could have happened. Rape a child, rob a bank, but hey, "something worse could have happened". Let them impress their cellmates with their love of animals.

These thieves are obviously dog lovers, which means they have (probably only) one redeeming quality in their jacked-up characters. So much worse could have happened to the dogs in this instance.
